Our
Interventions
Advocating for inclusive land policies
How we do it
We create a platform for the voice of the vulnerable to be heard by working together with both the traditional authorities, state actors and private sector actors in the land sector.
Prominent amongst them are the women groups from traditional areas, community based organizations, etc. This form of advocacy is geared towards influencing the national policy framework to recognize the customary land rights holders and ensure the protection of their rights and interests especially women and equip them to participate in land governance.

Strengthening Land Sector Institutions
How we do it
We recognize that it would be difficult to bring about the desired change in the land sector without the needed institutional capacity.
We are therefore committed to strengthening institutional structures, coordination, human resource capacity, the tools, and the rules governing their operations.
Our focus is to facilitate leadership commitment to changing the rules of the game to ensure it delivers secured land rights for customary land rights holders.

Educating on Land Rights
How we do it
We teach all groups in the traditional areas about their rights and interests in land and the need for documentation.
We undertake sustained public education and awareness-raising for a wide range of land rights holders and land users.
They are therefore able to make informed decisions and take the right actions at the right time to limit land tenure risks.
This is because, a well-informed population can advocate for themselves better than any advocacy done for them.
